Lee Jihan died in the October 29 stampede in Itaewon-dong, Seoul. It was found on October 30, 2022, the day after Jihan died tragically the day before because of the Halloween celebrations in Seoul. When he died, he was 25 years old. Park Heeseok, Jo Jinhyung, and Kim Dohyun, who worked with him on Produce 101 Season 2, were also on social media to talk about how much they liked Jihan.
