Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 series debuted in China last week with five models: the Redmi Note 12, the Redmi Note 12 Pro, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, the Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition, and the Redmi Note 12 Racing Edition. The global versions of the Redmi Note 12 and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ found in the IMEI database. The code name for these new international versions is Ruby, which is the same as the code name for their Chinese versions. This suggests that the devices are likely to be the same.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro twins will rebranded for the Indian market, just like the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge rebranded versions of the Chinese Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+. The MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC is inside the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+. They have 120Hz OLED screens with a resolution of FHD+. The screen has a peak brightness of 900 nits and is HDR10+, and Dolby Vision certified. Under the glass, they also put the fingerprint reader.
Each of the three cameras on the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The main difference is the primary camera sensor.
