Technical details of the Ola S1 Air
At first sight, the Ola S1 Air looks very similar to the original. However, it has undergone a substantial redesign. There is now only 34 liters of cargo capacity in the trunk, thanks to the flattening of the floorboard. The lower half of the body is now made of unpainted plastic, and the grab grips have been swapped out for a more straightforward tubular unit. The seat itself has also been simplified in form.
The Ola S1 Air’s smaller 2.5kWh battery pack allows for a complete charge in about 4 hours and 30 minutes. The scooter’s motor produces 4.5kW of peak power, enough to take it from 0 to 40kmph in 4.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 85kmph. With a single charge, the Ola S1 Air can travel 101 kilometers.
The Ola S1 Air electric scooter only offers three ride modes: Eco, Normal, and Sports. Surprisingly, the Ola S1 Air will ship with the latest Move OS 3.0 software and a 7-inch TFT touchscreen. Like previous versions, this one will also have a reverse mode, hill-hold, and user profiles.
The pressed steel wheels on the S1 Air are inexpensive but have a unique style. The scooter also has dual rear shock absorbers and a pair of basic dual telescopic front forks. Each end of the S1 Air is equipped with drum brakes. The S1 Air weighs at just 99 kg, making it far more portable than the heavier S1 and S1 Pro.
