Tata Motors has updated the Tata Tigor EV sedan and put it on sale in India for a starting price of Rs 12,49 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Tata Tigor EV has a claimed range of 315 km per charge, which is a bit better than before. Some new features are added to the new Tigor EV, like multi-mode regenerative braking, cruise control, leatherette upholstery, etc. Tata Motors will also offer some of these features to customers who already own cars starting in December 2022. Tata Tigor EV price, availability
It has put the updated Tata Tigor EV sedan on sale in India. It starts at Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata is adding a new top-of-the-line XZ+ Lux version of its entry-level EV, the e2o.
Tata has also added a new color called “Magnetic Red” to its two color options, which are “Signature Teal Blue” and “Daytona Grey.” Tata’s warranty on the battery and motor is still 8 years/160,000 km.

What the Tata Tigor EV has and how it works
The new version of the Tata Tigor EV has a range of 315 km, which is 9 km more than before. The same 26-kWh battery pack and electric motor with 74 BHP of peak power and 170 Nm of peak torque make this possible.
The new Tata Tigor EV has a four-level regenerative braking system, like the Tata Nexon EV twins and the brand-new Tata Tiago EV. The update also adds new features, such as rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, cruise control, leatherette upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Zconnect, smartwatch connectivity, iTPMS, and a tyre puncture kit.
Tata will also make some of the new features work with the old ones. From December 20, 2022, everyone who owns a Tata Tigor can get a free upgrade with multi-mode regen, iTPMS, and a tyre puncture kit. The XZ+ and XZ+ dual-tone with better specs will also get a smartwatch connection upgrade.
