BIS and SIRIM websites list Vivo V27e, implying an India and Malaysia release.

The Vivo V27 series of smartphones are likely to come out soon on the global market. The company released a teaser for these upcoming devices not long ago. The launch could happen in the next few days. We already know that the V27, V27 Pro, and V27e phones will be rebranded from the Vivo S16 series, which was only sold in China. The Vivo V27e has been seen on the SIRIM and BIS certification websites, which means it will be sold in Malaysia and India. The listings don’t say anything about the specs, but they confirm that the device will have the model number V2237 in both places.

A recent Google Play Console listing tells us about some of the Vivo V27e’s features. The listing says that the device will have a display with 1080 x 2400 pixels and 440 ppi. The screen will probably be an AMOLED panel with a size of 6.62 inches and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The device will have a MediaTek MT6789 SoC under the hood, also called the Helio G99. This 4G chipset is made by TSMC based on 6nm and has great efficiency and performance. It’s important to note that the Chinese version of this device, the Vivo S16e, is powered by a 5G-capable Dimensity 1080 chipset.

We expect the optics to include a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth snapper. There is a 16MP camera on the front. At the moment, we don’t know much else about the device.
