Xiaomi 13 series global debut imminent
As you can see from the poster above, Xiaomi will show “new Xiaomi technology” at MWC Barcelona 2023, which starts on February 27 and ends on March 2, 2023. The brand will announce the Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro at the event. However, since the poster says there will something “new” and the Xiaomi 13(S) Ultra has talked about for a while, it’s safe to assume that we might see the brand’s latest Ultra model simultaneously. This is in line with our exclusive report that Xiaomi plans to release a high-end flagship phone at MWC, most likely the Xiaomi 13S Ultra. For now, not much known about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra or the Xiaomi 13S Ultra, except that it will probably have a 120Hz/144Hz QHD+ AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS4.0 storage, an Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin out of the box, and a Leica-branded camera.
Leica makes the triple camera setup on the back of the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Still, we expect the Ultra model to have an even better sensor since the Pro model uses the same camera as the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
