The Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 will be imported into India as a CBU, and later, Mercedes-Benz will also introduce the EQS 580, a non-AMG variant of the EQS that will be made in India.

Each axle of the EV features an AMG-designed electric motor, and India gets the Dynamic Plus package. The multi-link front and rear suspension on the EQS 53 changed, according to AMG, including the rear axle beam, the subframe, and the motor mountings. It also has AMG’s Ride Control+ air suspension, which combines rear-axle steering and electronically controlled active dampers.

Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ introduces “Hyperscreen” in India. The “hyperscreen” consists of three panels connected by a single, continuous glass panel that runs from pillar to pillar across the dashboard. Mercedes-Benz also disclosed plans to establish the world’s biggest “ultra-fast charging” network. Which, according to the automaker, will reach 80% of India by the end of 2022.
